Combo Pipe Welders

DL Jones Construction is looking for Combo Pipe Welder’s for a project located in Wahpeton, North Dakota. 

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years progressive experience in the role
• Currently possess or able to pass welding certification meeting an ASME Section IX. (6G)
• DLJC will administer a test to those interested.

Pay:

• $30 - $34 per hour based on experience  

Shift Information: 

• Schedule is (6) 12 hr days M-S 
• Must be willing to work weekends and some nights may be required 

Brief Description:

The Pipe Welder’s role it to perform various welding and installations of piping systems based on layouts from construction documents.   

 Responsibilities / abilities

• Coordinate with job site manager to configure pipe system layout.
• Read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Perform welding in an overhead, laying, or standing position.
• Use and operate welding equipment including but not limited to power sources, welding guns, torches, and plasma cutters.
• Install new piping systems including supports
• Modify, clean, and maintain pipe systems, fittings, and related equipment.
• Repair leaks and damaged lines.
• Demolition of pipelines.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries
