CNC Vertical Mill Machinist

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced CNC Vertical Mill Machinists for projects located in and around Green Bay, WI.  This is a second shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $35/hour based on experience plus $100/Per Diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site.  If you are a CNC Vertical Mill Machinist and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:

• Confirm Vise is True to Machine
• Review Set Up Sheet and Pulled Tools
• Provide Feedback of any Concerns to Team after Tooling is Set 
• Run Single Control and Small Vertical Machines
• Use Appropriate Machining Tools: Go/No Go Gauges and Calipers for Inspections, Compare to Blueprint
• Set up, Operate, and Tend to Preventative Maintenance for CNC Equipment
• Identify Non-Conformances During Inspections of Component Parts and Properly Document such Non-Conformances
• Notify Supervisor when work received does not Meet the Specifications Required 
• Record Accurate Log of Job Times and Specifications for Audit Reports
• Maintain, Clean Equipment, Tools, Work Area

Requirements:

• • Minimum of 5 Years of Machining Experience; 3 Years of HAAS Control is Preferred
  • Able to Interpret and Work from Complex Drawings and Blueprints
  • Strong Knowledge of Decimals
  • Ability to Use Precision Measurement Tools
