Perform 6G pipe welding to precise specifications, with the ability to pass X-ray weld tests

Use GTAW (TIG), GMAW (MIG), and flux core welding techniques on carbon steel and stainless steel

Cut, prep, and weld pipe and metal components according to project blueprints and welding procedures

Maintain proper heat control, weld bead integrity, and finish quality

Operate welding equipment, grinders, torches, and thermal cutting tools
-
Conduct visual inspections and repair any welding defects before QC evaluation

Collaborate with foremen and project teams to ensure production goals and safety standards are met

Current 6G Certification (or ability to pass a 6G weld test on-site)

Minimum 3–5 years of professional welding experience, preferably in industrial or structural environments

Experience with pipe welding, structural welding, and pressure vessel fabrication

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and WPS documentation

Familiarity with ASME, AWS, and ANSI welding codes

Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights, and in confined spaces

Must have basic tools, welding hood, and PPE

OSHA 10 preferred
