Description Polar Field Services, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Summit Station, Greenland. This unique opportunity offers the chance to contribute to groundbreaking scientific research in one of the most remote and challenging environments on Earth.

Your Role: As a Seasonal Heavy Equipment Operator, you'll play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of Summit Station. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Operating heavy equipment, such as loaders, bulldozers, and tractors
  • Snow removal, construction support, cargo movement, and skiway maintenance
  • Equipment inspections, maintenance, and documentation
  • General camp support tasks
Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience as an equipment operator
  • Experience operating loaders, bulldozers, and tractors
  • Experience working and living in remote field sites
  • Willingness to work in extreme temperatures and weather conditions
  • Valid driver's license
  • A Class A or B CDL is a plus

Work Schedule:
  • 6 days per week, 7 AM to 5 PM
  • Some Sunday work may be required
  • Season runs approximately from April 1st to July 15th or July 15th to September 15th
