Safety Coordinator (LO/TO) – Journeyman Level

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified LO/TO Coordinator at the journeyman level to oversee and enforce Lockout/Tagout procedures on active Mission Critical Data Center. This role is essential to maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring full compliance with NFPA 70E, OSHA, and project-specific safety requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Journeyman-level experience with strong knowledge of:

  • Electrical equipment installation and operation

  • NFPA 70E standards

  • OSHA compliance and safety regulations

  • Mission Critical Data Center Experience

• Current or ability to obtain:

  • Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) training

  • First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures across the project site

• Ensure proper application of LOTO devices and permits

• Monitor energized work to ensure compliance with NFPA 70E and OSHA standards

• Verify electrical equipment is properly isolated prior to maintenance or servicing

• Maintain accurate LOTO documentation and records

• Support field crews with LOTO planning and troubleshooting

• Stop work when unsafe conditions or LOTO violations are identified
