360X Staffing is hiring for multiple Pipe Welders in Marinette, WI.

Pay: $30/hr + $100 daily per diem for days worked

50-60 hours per week - day and night shifts available!

 

Job Description:

As a Pipe Welder at a large tanker barge repair facility in South Point, Ohio, your primary role will involve passing a Coast Guard certified 6G weld test on 4" carbon steel with a chill ring insert using 5/32" 6011 stick welding. You will be responsible for conducting high-quality welding on tanker barges to ensure structural integrity and durability. 

 

Responsibilities:

- Conduct 6G welding on 4" carbon steel with a chill ring insert using 5/32" 6011 stick welding.
- Pass a Coast Guard certified 6G weld test to demonstrate welding proficiency.
- Ensure high-quality and durable welds on tanker barges to meet safety and regulatory standards.
- Work night shifts or day shifts as needed to fulfill job requirements.
- Adhere to the work schedule of (6) 10-hour shifts for the welding operations.
- Collaborate with team members to complete welding tasks efficiently and effectively.

 

Requirements:

- Proficiency in pipe welding, particularly in 6G welding on carbon steel with a chill ring insert.
- Experience with 5/32" 6011 stick welding for structural applications.
- Ability to pass a Coast Guard certified 6G weld test to meet industry standards.
- Knowledge of tanker barge repair work and welding requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in welding to ensure quality and strength.
- Willingness to work night shifts or day shifts as required for the job.
- Physical ability to perform welding tasks for extended periods.
- Effective communication skills and teamwork abilities.
