Pay: $28/hr + $120 daily per diem for days worked

Job Description:

We are currently seeking Shipyard Riggers to join our team in Jacksonville FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for rigging and lifting operations while working 10-hour shifts to support the ongoing activities at the shipyard.

Responsibilities:

• Perform rigging and lifting operations to move materials, equipment, and components as needed
• Conduct safety inspections of rigging equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Collaborate with the team to plan and execute rigging tasks efficiently and safely
• Operate rigging equipment such as cranes, hoists, and forklifts as required
• Assist in the setup and dismantling of rigging equipment for various projects
• Maintain accurate records of rigging activities and inspections

• Must have Shipyard Experience
• Certification or training in rigging operations and safety practices
• Proficiency in operating rigging equipment and understanding load capacities
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
• Physical stamina and strength to perform rigging tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Working Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Working Hours: 50+ hours per week
