Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Electrical Foremen for a long term project in the Ellendale, ND area.

LONG TERM! OVERTIME! $2,500 SIGN-ON-BONUS!!

  • PAY: $61.80/hour
  • PER DIEM: Lodging + $50/day OR $115/day (If Eligible)
  • HOURS: 68+ total weekly hours. Shifts will be five+ 12-hour workdays and one 8 hour day
  • SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday- Friday; 6:00 am-6:00 pm and 6:00am-2:30pm on Saturday
  • START DATE: ASAP
  • DURATION: 2+ year and temp-to-hire
  • SIGN-ON-BONUS: $2,500 (If Eligible)

Electrical Foreman Job Description:

Seeking a highly skilled Electrical Foreman to lead crews on a large-scale commercial data center project. This role is responsible for supervising electrical installations, coordinating daily jobsite activities, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and codes. The foreman will oversee both current construction phases and upcoming work, including core & shell systems, underground infrastructure, and temporary power distribution.

Responsibilities for Electrical Foreman:

  • Supervise and lead electrical crews, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards are met.
  • Plan, coordinate, and schedule daily work activities in alignment with project timelines.
  • Oversee installation of trapeze hangers, cable tray systems, and seismic-rated supports.
  • Direct prefab assembly and installation of electrical components, racks, and systems.
  • Manage core & shell electrical work, including conduit routing, feeders, branch circuits, and equipment installation.
  • Coordinate underground electrical installations, including duct banks, vaults, grounding systems, and site utilities.
  • Oversee setup and maintenance of temporary power systems for jobsite operations.
  • Interpret blueprints, one-lines, and project drawings to guide crews and ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with NEC, local codes, and jobsite safety regulations.
  • Conduct daily briefings, enforce safety protocols, and maintain a clean, organized worksite.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, general contractors, and other trades.

Qualifications for Electrical Foreman:

  • North Dakota Journeyman Electrical License required (or reciprocal license in ND).
  • 10+ years of commercial electrical experience, with 2–4+ years in a leadership/foreman role.
  • Strong experience with large-scale commercial or data center construction projects.
  • Proven ability to lead crews, manage schedules, and coordinate jobsite logistics.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
  • Strong knowledge of conduit installation, cable tray systems, and electrical infrastructure.
  • Experience with prefab systems and large-scale installations preferred.
  • Must have standard electrical hand tools.
  • Ability to stand, walk, crouch, twist, and work at heights for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
  • Required PPE: Steel-toe boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves.
  • Must be able to safely operate hand and power tools.

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must have reliable transportation to the job site.
  • Pre-employment drug and background screening required.
