Description

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain level 2-3 project schedule for facilities scope for entire project life cycle
  • Interface with the facilities EP contractor planning and scheduling specialists and provide oversight on contractor planning deliverables for facilities scope ensuring data is incorporated in to integrated project schedule
  • Provide general project controls oversight for the facilities Engineering/Procurement (EP) contractor applying project controls best practices and lessons learned
  • Prepare periodic project controls reports on the status of all engineering, procurement and construction activities relative to the facilities scope assuring potential problem areas are identified for corrective action
  • Coordinate change management tasks for facilities and expedite project change requests through project work flow
  • Assist in cost forecasting tasks for facilities scope
  • Coordinate risk reviews and maintain risk register for facilities work
  • Monitor and report on facilities project progress and performance
  • Assist in any facilities estimating efforts
  • Participate in project procurement, contracting, and contract administration activities to ensure they align with project controls processes and overall project objectives

Basic / Required:

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • 15+ years of projects / engineering experience in oil and gas industry and at least 10+ years of relevant EPC planning/project controls experience in assignments of increasing responsibility, complexity and scope
  • Strong working knowledge of general project controls, planning & scheduling, cost engineering, forecasting, earned value management, productivity analysis, risk management, accruals and general accounting.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Highly experienced with Primavera P6 scheduling software

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Construction Management or related field
  • Strong experience with Pertmaster/Primavera Risk analysis software
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrates the ability to develop reports for, and presentations to management.
  • Demonstrated performance as part of a team working large or mega project
  • Previous experience with Arctic North Slope facilities and projects
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other disciplines, teams and leadership across organizational boundaries
  • Strong multi-tasking skills with ability to manage multiple ongoing activities
