We are seeking a candidate with over 5 years of experience in industrial construction as a journeyman pipefitter. The successful applicant will possess basic rigging skills, be proficient in using small power tools, and be able to read and comprehend piping isometric drawings and, preferably, piping and instrument diagrams.
The role includes testing and commissioning piping systems, planning work efficiently, and preparing weld joints to meet project standards. You will need to be proficient in pipe layout, threading pipe using a threading machine, and reading support details and drawings.
Additionally, you may assist in lifting and securing materials during installation, perform minor maintenance on tools, and safely traverse uneven terrain with tools and materials. Climbing vertical ladders and working from heights are necessary. Adherence to all safety procedures and understanding personal fall arrest systems are mandatory, and you must be able to access scaffolding as required.
