Responsibilities
- Operating equipment such as forklifts and lulls to move material, unload trucks and trash removal.
- Performing routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles, including checking oil, water, and tires.
- Handling tasks related to construction and maintenance, such as installing water mains, excavating for repairs, and maintaining gas and water lines.
- Ensuring workplace safety and environmental practices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards.
- In-depth knowledge of heavy machinery operations.
- Ability to work at heights and in noisy environments.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy equipment.
- Capability to work outdoors in harsh weather conditions.
