Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking Maryland-based licensed Journeyman or Master Electricians who will join our nationwide service team. While based in Maryland, you’ll work on local commercial/industrial projects and travel out-of-state for service installations and troubleshooting.

You’ll play a key role diagnosing, repairing, and modernizing electrical systems, ensuring code compliance, and delivering high-quality field documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect, test, diagnose, and repair electrical components on commercial/industrial sites in Maryland and other U.S. locations

Install or replace wiring, conduit, lighting, MCCs, panels, fuse boxes, and generators

Perform advanced troubleshooting and conduct NEC-compliant installations

Lead small crews and mentor junior electricians when assigned

Complete required field deliverables for each project (photos, signed checklists, as-builts)

Read/interpret blueprints, one-lines, and SOW documentation

Ensure safety compliance with OSHA, customer, and company guidelines

Operate boom/scissor lifts safely and work at heights as required

Maintain positive client relationships and professional appearance on all job sites

Required Qualifications

Active Maryland Journeyman or Master Electrician License (or reciprocal license with ability to test in MD)

4+ years’ commercial/industrial electrical experience; prior lead/foreman experience preferred

Ability to travel regionally/nationwide for 1-3 weeks at a time

Knowledge of NEC and Maryland state/local electrical codes

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) for reporting and documentation

Possess basic electrical hand tools and PPE

Valid U.S. driver’s license with clean driving record (no DUI/DWI in last 3 years)

Able to pass background check, drug screen, and any client-specific pre-screening tests

Safety-minded, dependable, and flexible for day/night/weekend shifts

Preferred Skills

Advanced troubleshooting on commercial/industrial systems

Familiarity with permitting processes and AHJ inspections within Maryland

Strong conflict-resolution and mentoring abilities

Salary40.00 Hour
