Job Overview

As a Rigger at RIGUPATL, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently setting up and operating rigging equipment to lift and move heavy loads on various job sites. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that all operations are conducted in compliance with safety protocols and industry standards. You will report to the foreman and work with other team members to coordinate rigging operations and contribute to the overall success of our projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Set up and inspect rigging equipment and tools for safe lifting operations
  • Determine the appropriate rigging methods and equipment needed for various loads
  • Collaborate with project managers to establish timelines and work schedules
  • Follow safety procedures and protocols at all times
  • Monitor and maintain rigging equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition
  • Communicate effectively with team members and signal operators during lifting operations
  • Perform regular maintenance and inspections on rigging equipment
  • Assist in training new riggers and other site personnel on safe practices
  • Document all rigging procedures and equipment usage
  • Participate in safety meetings and contribute to a culture of safety on-site
Requirements
  • Proven experience operating forklifts and executing lift plans
  • Certifications Required: Osha 10, Forklift Certification & Qualified Rigger Certification
  • Strong understanding of rigging techniques and safety procedures
  • Excellent physical stamina and strength for lifting heavy materials
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
Benefits

The hourly compensation range for this role is between $25.00 - $31.00. The successful candidate's actual base compensation will be based upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to work experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and professional qualifications.
