Cummings Electrical is currently seeking Traveling Journeyman Electricians.

A sign-on bonus of $1,000 is available!

MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL and also MUST HAVE JOURNEYMAN LICENSE. All states accepted.

Qualifications

• Prepare, read, and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine wiring layout, equipment, and fixture placement.
• Assist the Superintendent in planning work and schedules.
• Inspect crew installations for quality, ensuring compliance with code and safety standards.
• Provide on-site direction, mentorship, and training to Apprentice Electricians.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in new commercial and/or industrial construction settings.
• Demonstrate capability in layout, termination, and understanding of electrical drawings.
• Ensure that requested materials are expedited and received as necessary.

• License: A valid TX Journeyman’s License is required, or a reciprocal state license.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 years’ experience is required.
• Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and project managers regarding project progress, issues, and recommendations.
• Screening: Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
