Riley Power Group, LLC is a full-service maintenance and capital construction services company headquartered in Pinehurst, NC. We work nationwide on some of the most challenging, exciting construction & maintenance projects in the industrial sector. We are currently hiring a skilled Human Resources Coordinator. Essential Functions of this position may include, but are not limited to:
  • Assist in planning, developing, organizing, maintaining, implementing, evaluating, and directing HR- related matters for Riley Power Group, LLC (e.g., policy manuals, job descriptions, performance evaluations, salary structures, etc.).
  • Maintain current knowledge of employment law and contract requirements and apply to policy documents & company forms. 
  • Understand, administer, and maintain records for ACA, ADA, COBRA, EEOC, EFMLA, FCRA, FMLA, FFCRA, other applicable employment law requirements, and their associated benefit(s).
  • Liaison between employees and insurance providers.
  • Coordinate with benefits broker & payroll provider to administer employee health and welfare plans including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Coordinate with the Payroll Department regarding benefit payroll deductions, additions, benefits statements reconciliation, & other payroll-related matters.
  • Utilize Applicant Tracking and Payroll software programs to assist recruiting, pre-boarding, and on-boarding. 
  • Conduct Benefit & HR Program audits. Recommend corrective actions and best practices.
  • Assist with HR-related aspects of recruiting, interviews, on-boarding, orientation, performance reviews, corrective actions, terminations, & all other employment-related matters.
  • Coordinate training curriculum for field employees, supervisors, and home office staff.
  • Respond to unemployment claims and requests for verification of employment.  
  • Respond to employee requests and questions.
  • Resolve HR-related challenges.

 

Skills & Experience

HR Coordinator must possess excellent decision-making, strategic thinking, leadership, interpersonal skills, and ethical conduct. He or she must understand and promote the company’s culture of kindness, compassion, honesty, and integrity to all employees, customers, vendors, and co-workers by example. Must be attentive to detail and accurate with data entry skills. 

Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Associate degree minimum.
  • The successful candidate must possess the willingness & ability to complete and pass all pre-employment and employment screening requirements which may include but are not limited to medical, psychological, background and substance abuse screening(s)
Physical Requirements, Activities & Conditions
  • This position primarily consists of sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.  Frequent sitting, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. Walking, standing, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, required occasionally.
  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of office equipment at distances close to the eyes.
  • The worker is subject to inside environmental conditions: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
