Licensed Electricians | | Pipelining for Upcoming Long-Term Electrical Project

Location: Salt Lake City, UT & St. George, UT — Employment Type: Long-Term Contract Pay: $40–$50/hour (DOE) Per Diem: $100/day (for qualifying travelers) Estimated Hours: 50–60+ hours per week Start Date: TBD


Position Overview

Kodiak is pipelining licensed electricians and electrical craftsmen of various skill levels for upcoming commercial and industrial projects in Utah. We are not able to share full project details at this time — we are connecting with qualified candidates now so we can reach out directly when hiring begins within the next couple weeks to a month.

Both local and traveling professionals are encouraged to connect. An active Utah Electrical License is required for Utah-based work. Electricians holding qualifying reciprocal licenses from Colorado or Idaho are also welcome to apply — Kodiak will assist with the reciprocity process.


We Expect Openings For:

  • Apprentice Electricians
  • Journeyman Electricians
  • Foremen / Leads
  • Industrial & Commercial Electricians

What the Work Will Involve

Candidates should have a background in commercial and/or industrial electrical work, with experience in one or more of the following:

  • Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems
  • Conduit, cable tray, feeders, wiring, panels, and related components
  • Blueprint and schematic interpretation
  • Code-compliant work execution per project specifications
  • Adherence to jobsite safety standards and PPE requirements
  • Collaboration with field teams and project leadership

What We're Looking For

  • Active Utah Electrical License or eligible reciprocal/coordinating license (CO & ID welcome)
  • Commercial and/or industrial electrical experience at any level — Apprentice through Foreman
  • Ability to read blueprints and electrical drawings
  • Strong safety awareness and jobsite professionalism

Preferred:

  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
  • Current NFPA 70E certification
  • Experience on commercial or industrial project sites

Projects Are Expected to Offer:

  • $40–$50/hour depending on experience and skill level
  • $100/day per diem for qualifying travelers
  • 50–60+ hours per week with overtime opportunities
