About the Role

We’re hiring Field Managers to lead commercial and retail electrical construction projects, including big-box remodels and new builds (Target, Walmart, Bass Pro Shops, etc.). This is a travel-based position with all expenses covered and a structured bonus program. The ideal candidate is based in the Southern U.S. and thrives in hands-on, fast-paced environments with a focus on execution and accountability.

You'll act as a site leader—managing crews, coordinating with project managers, handling clients, and keeping schedules on track. This position is a mix of field supervision, customer interaction, and logistics coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead crews of 5–8 electricians and helpers on remodels and new construction projects.
  • Work directly with Project Managers to manage schedules, budgets, and milestones.
  • Oversee jobsite setup, materials, and personnel readiness.
  • Represent the company with professionalism in client and GC interactions.
  • Handle all jobsite documentation: daily logs, safety reports, and productivity tracking.
  • Monitor project progress, hours, and budget targets—and adjust as needed.
  • Enforce safety protocols and lead regular safety meetings (OSHA compliance).
  • Maintain high standards for quality and project delivery.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in the electrical industry, preferably in commercial/retail settings.
  • Proven experience leading crews and managing field operations.
  • Comfortable working night shifts (for remodels) and day shifts (for new construction).
  • Strong communication and leadership skills; customer service mindset.
  • Ability to plan ahead, manage logistics, and adapt to shifting project needs.
  • Required: OSHA 30 Certification and active State Electrical Journeyman License.
  • Must pass a background check (drug screening as needed per project).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Work Schedule

  • Remodel Projects: Night shift (typically 9 PM–5 AM).
  • New Construction: Day shift (typically 7 AM–3:30/4 PM).
  • 40-hour scheduled weeks, with occasional overtime.
  • Travel rotation typically runs 3 weeks on, 1 week off, adjusted as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $90,000 to $130,000, depending on experience and licensing.
  • Bonus Program: Structured, performance-based bonuses.
  • Travel Support:
  • Paid travel (airfare or mileage)
  • Airbnb housing
  • $35/day per diem for meals
  • $700/month vehicle allowance + fuel card
  • Benefits Package:
  • Medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage
  • Life insurance
  • 401(k) (no company match)
  • 2 weeks of paid vacation (accrued)
  • Paid holidays
