Position Overview

We are seeking two experienced Conveyor Millwrights to support a short-term demolition project. The primary responsibility will be dismantling and removing conveyor systems and associated equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Candidates must have strong mechanical aptitude, proven millwrighting experience, and the ability to work long shifts in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform demolition and removal of conveyor systems, motors, and mechanical components.
• Utilize proper rigging, cutting, and mechanical tools to safely disassemble equipment.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and layout plans.
• Ensure compliance with all site-specific safety standards and procedures.
• Operate hand and power tools as required for demolition tasks.
• Collaborate with team members and site supervisors to complete project objectives within the required timeline.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of millwright/conveyor experience, preferably with demolition or shutdown projects.
• Strong knowledge of conveyor systems, bearings, motors, and mechanical assemblies.
• Ability to work 10+ hour shifts in a physically demanding environment.
• Valid safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, MSHA, Fall Protection, Confined Space) preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
