Electrical Project Manager

As a member of our project management team, you will oversee all aspects of assigned commercial, industrial, and municipal projects from commencement to completion. You will manage these projects in a manner that exceeds our customers’ expectations and ensures that our work adheres to all company safety policies and OSHA mandated requirements. The ideal candidate is one who is progressing through their career and ready to take an entrepreneurial step in a growing business. The candidate should bring to the table a robust knowledge of electrical items from bid through commissioning and not be afraid to jump in when issues arise. Responsibilities:
• Manage all financial aspects of projects through ongoing job forecasting
• Oversee pre-con meetings to ensure successful handoff from estimating to field
• Contribute to winning additional work through Team collaboration during bid reviews
• Collaborate with prefabrication and design departments
• Set clear goals and expectations to foreman
• Negotiate and resolve all customer concerns
• When necessary, estimate change orders for assigned projects
• Manage all jobs closeout procedures
• Conduct post project reviews to determine areas for future improvement
• Provide coaching/counseling to Foreman and Superintendents
• Develop/maintain network of professional relationships within our industry
• Lead multiple projects managing Field Superintendents
 

Skills and Experience:
• Electrical Engineering Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• At least 7 years of electrical PM experience (large job experience and OSHA 30 preferred)
• Journeyman Electrician license
• Strong electrical estimating skills
• Experience with lump sum projects
• Experience in municipal and industrial markets
• Electrical Administrator license (preferred)
• Strong project management skills
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Outstanding interpersonal skills
