We currently seek a high caliber Facilities Coordinator professional for a long-term basis within our client's team of experienced professionals. Based in Huntsville, AL.

Responsible for day-to-day facility and office operations and procedures. Performs various clerical duties in an office and manages all facility related activities at the property. Coordinates employee moves/adds/changes. Monitors work order requests expeditiously and brings them to a satisfactory conclusion. Functions as liaison with building property management. Also responsible for mailroom and receptionist responsibilities.
? Coordinates, escorts, and manages vendor/service provider activities, to include arranging for after-hours HVAC repairs. Processes OCR's for vendor invoices and submits for payment. Orders supplies from corporate vendors for departments/staff as needed.
? Acquires, distributes, and disposes furniture as needed with approval from GSS Region Manager or Deputy Region Manager. Coordinates offices assignments and moves. Manages equipment maintenance and supplies. Manages off-site storage.
? Reviews facilities projects with GSS Region Manager or Deputy Region Manager for approval. Coordinates with GSS Region Manager or Deputy Region Manager on all facilities related matters.
? Coordinates with other GSS support functions (IS/Repro/Security), to include Talent Management representatives to on-board and off-board employees.
? Acts as Security/Emergency Coordinator for Health and Safety training and testing, as well as supporting office business continuity plan, if needed. Acts as member of Office Safety Committee and ensures the availability/maintenance of AEDs (Automated External Defibrillator), fire extinguishers, and first aid supplies. Maintains emergency evacuation plan and serves as the Emergency 911 Desk Respondent.
? Handles incoming and outgoing mail, supply ordering and distribution, and facility maintenance as it pertains to office space and phones.
? Reporting includes Workplace Risk Assessment, Office Space Estimate (OSE), Occupancy Report, Recycling Report, and MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) for products used onsite.
? High school diploma (or equivalent) and 1-3 years of relevant experience. Some college level education or facilities related certification coursework preferred.
? Must have or be able to obtain a minimum of a Secret clearance and maintain.
? Strong written and oral communication, organizational, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills are required. Familiarity and some level of expertise with MSOffice applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
? Additionally, a demonstrated proficiency in the use of internet search engines, electronic mail systems, and spreadsheets is required. A working knowledge of company policies and procedures is preferred.
? Ability to physically handle bulky and large packages, up to 50 lbs. Physical ability to mount/hang large whiteboards, corkboards, and pictures, as well as move furniture, filing cabinets, and large items utilizing moving equipment without damaging of the facility. Ability to manage multiple facilities simultaneously.
? Ability to work effectively under time constraints with limited guidance. Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize to ensure that all scheduled tasks are completely in a timely manner.
