Electrician

360X Staffing is hiring for Electricians in Bingham Canyon, UT.

Pay: $35/hr + $125 daily per diem for days worked

*MSHA 48 Required*

Key Responsibilities: 

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and components, including motors, VFDs, switchgear, transformers, substations, and PLCs.
• Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment such as conveyors, crushers, pumps, shovels, and drills.
• Install and wire electrical panels, motor control centers (MCCs), lighting systems, and power distribution systems.
• Maintain compliance with the MSHA (Mine Safety and Health Administration) and OSHA standards.
• Conduct electrical inspections and diagnostics using appropriate tools such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and thermal imaging cameras.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• Support automation systems and assist in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley preferred).
• Work collaboratively with mechanical and operations teams to minimize downtime.
• Participate in safety meetings, hazard assessments, and toolbox talks.
• Complete all documentation and maintenance logs accurately and on time.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 years of Industrial experience in an industrial or mining environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of 480V and medium-voltage systems (up to 13.8kV).
• Familiarity with MSHA safety regulations and mining operations. 
• Proficient in the use of electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments including confined spaces, heights, and extreme weather conditions.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
