Summit Skilled Solutions is hiring a local Trim/Finish Carpenter to start a project in Oklahoma City, OK Monday June 9th. Qualified candidates will be responsible for executing high-quality finish work on various construction projects including but not limited to Apple stores, Under Armor, William-Sonoma and Pottery Barn ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to the highest standards. Upon successful completion of this location additional projects with per diem are available.
Trim/Finish Carpenter Responsibilities
- Precision millwork
- Trim/finish carpentry tasks including installation of trim, molding, and cabinetry.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications set by project managers.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood materials accurately for various applications.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise.
Trim/Finish Carpenter Requirements
- Proven experience as a finish carpenter or similar role in the construction industry.
- Past experience working in retail construction required
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Trim/Finish Carpenter Compensation/Benefits
- $28-$33/hr BOE
- Working 7/10-12 hour days (straight through end of project)
- Weekly direct deposit
