Under general supervision, performs safe and efficient duties necessary in the heavy construction industry. The incumbent will need to operate in a safe and efficient manner following all personal protective equipment (PPE) and process requirements. Must be able to travel (relocate) from jobsite to jobsite for continued employment, able to work both scheduled and non-scheduled overtime, and able to work night (second or third) shift assignment. If slipforming operation is in progress, able to work 12 hours or more per day, 7 days per week, for two weeks plus period of time.
Experienced general labor has one year or more experience in the Industrial Construction industry. Work tasks involve manual handling of material and portable tools or equipment. Work assignments include shoveling, lifting, pushing, carrying and manual hoisting of said materials, tools and portable equipment. Works in close proximity to material handling and other mobile and stationary equipment. Work area is considered outdoors subject to the weather elements.
MUST BE EXPERIENCED IN INDUSTRIAL CONSTRUCTION.
