Role description:
Arcadis is seeking a traveling Field Technician. In this role, you will be a member of a field team who works on a variety of environmental self-perform construction sites. This position requires extensive travel to job sites, based out of the Brawley / Imperial Valley, CA area. You will typically be traveling for two - three weeks at a time and then home for a long weekend. This is a great opportunity to join an established team working supporting our mission of Improving Quality of Life.
Role accountabilities:
Excavation and Restoration of remediated properties
Light construction activities including framed construction,
Light Demolition including jack hammering of concrete.
Flat concrete work
Painting
Landscaping
Heavy labor to include shoveling and carrying materials up to 50 lbs
Installation of fencing and construction materials
Qualifications & Experience:
2 years of previous experience working on environmental construction sites
Oil and Gas experience preferred.
Railroad preferred.
Remedial system install and removal.
Experience with construction equipment.
40 hour HAZWOPER certification preferred.

The salary range for this position is $21.16 - 36.49 / hr.
