Job Title: Journeyman Electrician
Project Location: Waldorf, MD Project Duration: 9-10 weeks
About the Project:We are excited to announce an upcoming project involving the installation of PVC conduit in trenches as part of an underground feeding system for a new Amazon facility. This critical infrastructure project requires a highly skilled Journeyman Electrician who is ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role.
Position Overview:As a Journeyman Electrician on this project, you will be responsible for the installation of PVC conduit systems, ensuring they meet all technical specifications and safety standards. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and is meticulous about adhering to codes and regulations.
Responsibilities:- Install PVC conduit in trenches to form part of an extensive underground electrical feeding system.- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure that installations are completed on time and within budget.- Ensure all electrical works meet quality standards and comply with electrical codes and safety regulations.- Conduct system testing and troubleshooting as required.
Requirements:
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license required.- Experience in industrial or commercial electrical projects, specifically with PVC conduit and underground systems.- Strong understanding of current electrical codes and installation standards.- Ability to work in various outdoor conditions and participate in physical activities, including lifting, digging, and bending.
Work Schedule:- 60-70 hours per week (Six or Seven 10-hour days).
Compensation:
- Hourly: $26/hr - $29/hr- Per Diem: $100.00 per days worked.
