Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, and maintain electrical and instrumentation equipment, such as motors, generators, transformers, control panels, switches, transmitters, and sensors.
- Read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings, blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to determine the layout and configuration of systems.
- Perform electrical wiring, connections, and terminations according to electrical codes, standards, and specifications.
- Test electrical circuits and instrumentation devices using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other testing equipment to ensure proper functionality and performance.
- Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation issues, identify root causes of failures, and implement corrective actions to restore equipment to working condition.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks on electrical and instrumentation systems to minimize downtime and prevent equipment failures.
- Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other tradespeople to plan and execute electrical and instrumentation projects within specified timelines and budgets.
- Train and mentor junior electricians and apprentices on electrical and instrumentation procedures, techniques, and safety practices.
Requirements:
- High school or trade school diploma or the equivalent required.
- Journeyman electrician license preferred.
- Industrial experience (SCADA, PLC, Control Automation) preferred.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical and instrumentational drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Proven experience in leadership preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues using diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Must pass 10-Panel drug screen and background check.
