Stick Welder – Barge Repair (6011 & 7018 Experienced)

360xStaffing is hiring experienced Stick Welders for a barge repair project in Hartford IL . This is a high-skill welding role requiring confidence and proven ability with 5/32" 6011 and 1/8" 7018 electrodes. Candidates must be able to pass a practical weld test and be ready to work in a demanding marine repair environment. 

Requirements:

• Must have recent experience with:

  • 5/32" 6011

  • 1/8" 7018

• Must be able to pass a lap weld test in:

  • 3F Uphill

  • 4F Position

• Must pass a Drug Test / Background Check  

• Experience in barge repair or similar heavy structural welding is preferred.

• Ability to work safely and efficiently in challenging outdoor/marine conditions.

• Must be reliable and physically fit for heavy industrial work.

Details:

• $24–$26/hr, based on experience

• $100/day Per Diem

• Monday–Saturday, overtime available 2nd shift or 3rd available 

• Pay is  based on experience
