Job Description:
Skilled Performance is seeking experienced Industrial Electricians to join our team. The successful candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in electrical systems, including installation, Blueprint Interpretation, maintenance, Safety Management, Pulling wire, terminating, and troubleshooting within an industrial setting.
Notes:
-TDLR Certificate required, at least apprentice level
-80/day per diem (Not eligible for per diem if residing within 50 miles of job site)
-Starts with cable pulling and will lead to terminations
-Standard Drug Screen and Background required
Licensed Apprentice Electricians ($30/hr), Licensed Journeyman ($32/hr), Licensed Foreman (pay will be discussed).
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 4 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician.
- Licensing & Certification: A minimum of an Electrical Apprentice License, with a preference for a Licensed Journeyman Electrician.
- Tool Proficiency: Must possess all required tools and be skilled in the use of specialized electrical tools such as ohm meters, multi-meters, and terminating devices.
- Conduit & Cable Tray Installation: Must be able to use hand and power tools to install and modify cable trays, bend and cut conduit, and pull cables through designated pathways.
- Electrical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical theory (e.g., Ohm's Law) and experience working with high voltage systems.
- Mechanical Expertise: Familiarity with electrical components in industrial settings, particularly in the context of Liquefied Natural Gas Plants.
- Lockout/Tagout Systems: Knowledge and experience working with lockout/tagout procedures.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs., working at heights (up to 300 ft.), and adhering to all PPE and safety standards.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and accountability in adhering to schedules and safety procedures.
Physical Requirements & Work Conditions:
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions (heat, rain, cold, wind) while wearing appropriate PPE.
- Must be comfortable working in physically demanding environments, including climbing ladders, scaffolding, and performing tasks at height.
- Regularly required to lift, carry, and move tools and materials weighing up to 50lbs.
- Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hat, safety glasses, ear protection, hi-vis vests, gloves, and steel-toed work boots.
- Must be willing to harness and work at heights (up to 300ft) when required.
