Trillium Staffing is now seeking a Laboratory Technician for a temporary assignment working in Saginaw, MI.

This position is expected to last at least one month. Technicians will be responsible for the following:

- Analyzes, documents, interprets and follows through on results of water distribution samples and other outside source samples in determining the presence or content of inorganic, organic, microbiological or physical properties.
- Through performance of water quality control testing and recording, ensures compliance with EPA, MDEQ, and the SDWA (Safe Drinking Water Act) standards.
- Analyzes treatment chemicals and bacterial media to verify content and purity.
- Ensures proper laboratory testing procedures are followed.
- Ensures technical equipment is properly utilized for testing water samples
- Maintains accurate QC/QA data for biological testing procedures
- Ensures compliance with the EPA/MDEQ mandated regulations

The schedule is Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm. The pay rate is $15-$18 per hour, depending on experience. If you’re interested in this opportunity for Laboratory Technicians, please apply today!

Qualifications

- Associates Degree in related field or related work experience. Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or related Science is preferred.
- Hands-on work experience in a laboratory and knowledge of standard lab practices.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
