Steel Erection Supervisor

Overview:
McMahan Industrial Services is seeking an experienced and reliable Steel Erection Supervisor to lead field operations on structural steel projects. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of steel erection processes, safety protocols, and site coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all field operations related to steel erection

• Coordinate and direct crews to ensure safe, efficient, and quality work

• Interpret and work from structural drawings and erection plans

• Conduct daily safety and progress meetings

• Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades

• Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards

• Track project progress and material needs

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in structural steel erection

• Prior experience supervising crews on commercial or industrial projects

• Strong understanding of rigging, crane operations, and jobsite logistics

• Ability to read blueprints and erection drawings

• Proven leadership and communication skills

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
