Electrical Superintendent

Red's Electrical Service is a family owned Nationwide Growing Industrial Electrical Company searching for Superintendents. Must be willing to travel in the US to the next job. Tons of potential for growth! Currently have projects all over the US. Time off between jobs is allowed if needed up approval from project manager.

*Valid Journeyman License

*Prior Superintendent experience is a must!

*Experience with installation and repair of electrical control systems (Allen Bradley Products, PLCs, Sensors, Switches, etc.)

*Health Insurance after 90 days probationary period, Employee portion paid 100%

*401k after probationary period. Employer match 100% to 3%

*Competitive Pay $49-$55/hour

*Per Diem Rate paid per each day worked of up to $165 / day

*Opportunity to move on to next project

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Manage a team of workers, including work schedules, project progress and resource allocation

• Create cost estimates for labor, supplies, materials and other project costs

• Collaborate with clients, Project Managers, other construction management to determine budget and timeline

• Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers

• Create schedules for workers

• Maintain a daily log for the job site’s operations, reporting to management as necessary

• Make changes in the operation as necessary to best meet construction deadlines

• Implement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient

• Update Driver regularly

• Assess staffing 

• Build and Develop Team Skills

• Submit a copy of the timesheet in a timely manner

• Review and adjust your team’s timecards

• Approve your team’s time cards at the end of each pay period

• Verify that each new hire has completed the onboarding process before the start date

• Verify that each new hire has completed all of the safety training before the start date 

• Verify that each new hire has downloaded the ExakTime app 

• Assist the new hires with setting up and logging into the ExakTime app

• Train new hires on how to use the ExakTime App

• Manage Material(s) 

• Inform the team of any, and all, safety requirements for the project

• Provide safety tools that are required for the team to properly and safely perform their job tasks/duties

• Hold a weekly meeting to review the Toolbox Safety Talk topic
