Description Position: Instrument Fitter

Location: Skowhegan, Maine

$35/hr

$150/Per diem (days worked)

Primary Responsibilities

  1. Read loop sheets, P&IDs, and blueprints
  2. Work to assemble and install instruments
  3. Have the ability to perform tube bending and tube bending in groups/bundles
  4. Be able to Install instrument stands, instrument air headers, instruments, tube tray, screw pipe, and steam tracing
  5. Have knowledge of high-pressure valves and fittings
  6. Able to use mechanical and hydraulic powered tubing benders, weld fittings, and pipe specifications


Qualifications

  1. Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug/alcohol test and applicable background checks.
  2. Minimum 4 years industrial construction/maintenance industry
  3. Must have tools of trade including ¼", 3/8", and ½" Benders
  4. NCCER Certified is a plus
