Location: Windsor Locks, Connecticut (on-site warehouse)
Schedule: 40 hours per week M-F for 4-weeks
Pay Rate: $30–$35/hr $130/day per diem (if applicable)

Inventory Manager Overview

This contract Inventory Manager will support our client managing a conveyor installation project, by overseeing inventory operations in a rented warehouse supporting a major logistics customer. This role owns receiving, tracking, placement, and accountability of all materials and equipment entering the site, while leading a small on-site team.

You will replace an existing Inventory Manager who is transitioning to another location, ensuring continuity with minimal disruption.

Inventory Manager Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and log 100% of inbound material shipments, including verification against BOLs and packing slips
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using Excel-based tracking tools
  • Direct placement and organization of incoming materials within the warehouse
  • Track and trace equipment and materials from receipt through deployment
  • Lead and coordinate 2–3 temporary skilled laborers, assigning daily priorities
  • Serve as the on-site inventory point of contact for AEGIS project stakeholders
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory counts or documentation
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready warehouse environment

Inventory Manager Requirements

  • 2+ years of inventory or warehouse management experience
  • Proven experience receiving shipments and managing documentation (BOLs, packing slips, asset logs)
  • Hands-on experience tracking inventory using Excel (WMS or ERP experience not required)
  • Prior experience leading or supervising small teams (2–3 people)
  • Ability to work independently in a project-based warehouse environment
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
