Location: Heavy Industrial / Refinery Environment Per Diem: $1,000/week Schedule: 4x10s (40 hours/week) Duration: Maintenance support Clearance: TWIC required
Heavy Industrial Background — Must have prior experience in refineries, chemical plants, power plants, or other process facilities.
HVAC Systems Experience — Skilled in chillers, cooling towers, process fans, and large industrial HVAC systems (both electrical and mechanical).
Electrical & Mechanical Knowledge — Experience working on control systems, VFDs, motors, and process equipment rooms.
TWIC Card Required — Must hold a valid TWIC card at time of hire.
Safety Certifications — NFPA 70E certification highly preferred (strong plus).
EPA Universal Certification preferred.
Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in refinery or large plant settings.
Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections on HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on chillers, compressors, and controls.
Collaborate with other trades during shutdowns and maintenance projects.
Maintain accurate documentation (work orders, maintenance logs, safety reports).
Follow refinery safety procedures and LOTO/HAZWOPER protocols.
5+ years of industrial HVAC experience (refinery, petrochemical, or power plant).
Proficient with industrial cooling systems and process fans.
Familiar with CMMS systems and refinery safety standards.
Able to work independently in hazardous, confined, and outdoor environments.
Strong safety mindset and consistent adherence to PPE, LOTO, and confined space procedures.
