MIG Welder/Fabricator

Job Requirements

• Fit and weld in the construction of tractors, including loaders, backhoes, and buckets using MIG welding processes and procedures
• Perform finishing work after parts have been machine welded
• Measure, mark and install metal plate for cutting per specifications using tools such as saws, and torches
• Remove high spots and cut bevels using hand files, portable grinders and torches
• May roll, bend, flange, cut and shape plates and metal parts using shop machinery
• Set up welding machines based on job at hand
• Keep work areas clean and organized while taking care of all equipment and facilities
• Ensure work is performed safely and meets quality standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Must be willing to work day or night shift, as needed.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Must have 3+ years of MIG welding experience
• Must have own weld hood and PPE

Schedule

• 10 hours shifts, Monday through Friday
• Day and Night shifts
• Overtime

Compensation

• 1^st Shift: $18.50/hr
• 2^nd Shift: $21.50/hr
• $500 Sign-On bonus
