Job Title: Industrial Traveling Electrician (10+ Hour Days, Travel Required)

Location: Maxton, NC (with travel to Chester, SC, Anderson, SC, Macon, GA, and back to Maxton, NC)

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Traveling Electrician with strong experience in EMT and rigid conduit installation, 600 VAC and under wire installation, and terminations. You will also assist in mounting control panels with strut, lighting, conduit installation, and machine startup.

This role involves traveling to various job sites, starting in Maxton, NC, for about two weeks, then moving to Chester, SC, Anderson, SC, Macon, GA, and returning to Maxton, NC. The project duration is expected to be about two months or longer.

Responsibilities:

• Install EMT and rigid conduit systems.

• Wire installations and terminations, including 600 VAC and under.

• Mounting control panels with strut.

• Assist with machine start-up.

• Work on ladders, scissors lifts, and boom lifts.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including lift training, fall protection, and other safety certifications.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as an industrial electrician.

• Ability to work on ladders, scissors lifts, and boom lifts.

• Must be able to travel to different job sites.

• Must be able to work 10-hour days with some weekends.

• Must speak English and possess the ability to work well with others.

• Must pass background checks, drug screening, and complete an I-9 form.

• Must have the required PPE, including:

  • Climber-type hard hat

  • Steel toe boots

  • Safety glasses

  • Hi-vis shirt or vest

  • Long sleeves for one project

  • Cut-level gloves

  • Harness and retractable lanyard

Compensation:

• Competitive pay, paid weekly.

• Per diem provided, ranging from $5.50 to $8.50 per hour, depending on location.
