Yard Dog – CDL (Spotter Driver)
Location: North Haven, CT
Pay: $25/hr + $45 Per Diem

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Yard Dog / Spotter Driver to safely move trailers in and out of dock doors and staging areas at our North Haven, CT facility. This role involves working in a fast-paced yard environment and supporting daily warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate yard truck to move trailers within the yard
- Back trailers into loading docks and secure for loading/unloading
- Inspect equipment for mechanical or safety issues and report concerns
- Maintain accurate trailer moves and yard inventory logs
- Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures
Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A or CDL-B license with a clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of yard dog/spotter or similar driving experience
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Compensation & Perks
- $25 per hour
- $45 daily per diem
