Pipe Welder - $50/HR + Per Diem

We're looking for qualified and experienced personnel for FT, contract, and per diem opportunities in Hampton Roads, Norfolk, Winchester, Virginia Beach and Newport News, VA.

Immediate need for Pipe Welders who meet the following skill requirements and experience:

1. Must have at least (5) years experience as a Pipe Welder in an industrial or marine environment
2. Must be able to qualify using GTAW (TIG) & SMAW (STICK) in 6G restricted position with carbon steel, stainless, & CUNI
3. Ability using multi-pass all position fillet and butt welds using SMAW process
4. Ability to Mirror weld using SMAW and GTAW welding processes
5. Must be able to set wedling equipment parameters for various welding processes. 
6. Ability to read and interpret blue prints
7. Knowledge of shipboard nomenclature helpful
8. Knowledge of Confined Space and Hot Work procedures
9. Know & understand torch safety practices (both Oxy/Acyt and Propane)

• Must also be a U.S. citizen or National with CLEAN BACKGROUND
• Must be willing and able to pass a drug screen (hair follicle)

Pay is $50 an hour and per diem is $110 a day if you qualify
