Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
Position type: Full-Time, Hourly
Pay Range: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour depending on experience
Overtime: Occasionally required

What You'll Do
The Maintenance Mechanic will work directly with, and report to, the Maintenance Foreman and the Maintenance Manager. The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, servicing, and repairing industrial machinery in an abrasive manufacturing plant to ensure a safe and effective production environment. This position is
-1st Shift:
Hours are: 7:00am-3:00pm,
Monday - Friday; with occasional hours required on Saturdays
Inspect, diagnose, and perform necessary repairs of defective or worn components of crushers, graders, mills, kilns, cranes, and other industrial machinery
Perform preventative maintenance and routine repairs of all equipment contained on site
Responsible for the overall performance of equipment and vehicles
Operate machine tools, including drills, saws, welders, hand tools, and cutting tools
Be available for on-call duty required
Perform other necessary duties and projects as assigned
What You'll Need
To be successful in this position, you must:
Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent, Trade School a plus
Have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., walk, stand, bend, and climb for most of the day
Be able to operate various shop tools, i.e.: cutters, drill press, band saw, welding tools, etc.
Have access to a basic tool kit or be able to build one during the first few weeks of employment
