Job Title: Machine Setup Technician

Compensation: $18 – $25 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Full-time, 40+ hours per week 

Position Overview:
Summit Skilled Solutions is seeking 1–2 Blanchard Grinder Operators. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with machine shop experience who are motivated to work, learn, and grow within a supportive environment. While training will be provided, candidates with prior experience in Blanchard grinding are highly preferred and should be able to contribute immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Blanchard grinding machines to perform precision grinding on steel and other materials.
• Utilize hand tools, wrenches, and measuring instruments for accurate adjustments and finishing.
• Perform manual steel grinding as needed.
• Safely operate jib cranes and overhead lifting equipment to move and position heavy parts.
• Flip, adjust, and prepare parts for machining processes.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company standards.
• Follow instructions closely while demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience with Blanchard grinding strongly preferred.
• General machine shop experience required.
• Ability to read measurements and apply basic math skills.
• Comfortable using hand tools and performing manual grinding.
• Experience operating jib cranes or overhead lifting equipment is a plus.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Work Schedule:

• Option 1: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Option 2: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
