For over 25 years Harvard NDE has been providing cost-effective Inspecting and Testing Services to the Power Boiler Industry throughout the United States

Harvard NDE Specializes in power plant inspections. Work will be located at various locations on the east coast. Must have reliable transportation. Travel nights and weekends are required. Harvard will provide hotel accommodations. Pay (hourly) is based on skills and experience. Competitive benefits.

Entry Level – Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician. Power boiler inspections and testing. Working in confined spaces and sometimes from heights.

Although this is an entry level position the following are requirements:

Travel is required, roughly 70% of the time. Most of the travel is in the Northeastern United States but is not limited to this portion of the country.

Must be dependable.

Must have dependable transportation.

Ability to work long hours – shifts generally run 12 hours but may be longer, dependent upon the required tasks and the customer’s schedule.

Be able to work in confined spaces with full face respirator.

Room for growth – Level I certification in NDE Techniques. This is possible over time with logged hours, training, and practical exams per ASNDT standards adopted by Harvard NDE.

Visual Testing (VT)

Ultrasonic Thickness Testing (UTT)

Penetrant Testing (PT)

Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)

Internal Rotary Inspection System (IRIS)

Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT)



Comply with Harvard NDE and plant safety standards in accordance with OSHA, ISN, and ASME.       

Have all provided PPE and must complete Harvard safety training annually.
