Pay & Benefits of the Craft Instructor:
• $60,000 to $65,000 per year salary

• This position will have direct influence and have a large impact on the success of apprentice's careers
Responsibilities:
• The Apprentice Instructor will be responsible for the instruction, development, mentoring, training/preparation for apprentice.
• Assist with Apprentice onboarding and progress reviews
• This position will also be responsible for delivering occupational skills training, as well as develop curriculum and lead instruction for construction industry courses, such as NCCER and OSHA-10
• Follow training plans approved by the Apprenticeship Director. Communicate to the Training supervisor any concerns about necessary changes to the training plan.
• Conduct initial, and upskill, National Center for Construction Education and Research ("NCCER") training, Occupational Safety and Health Administration ("OSHA") training and any other training that is (1) required by trade apprenticeships standards and (2) ACS is authorized to train.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet apprentice varying needs, abilities, and interests
• Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time that provides apprentice with opportunities to observe, questions, investigate and complete hands-on projects
Qualifications:
• Education: HS Diploma/GED required
• Related Experience: A minimum of 3 years of verified heavy equipment operating experience.
• 3 years' experience working on job sites in construction
• Solar experienced preferred
• Bilingual preferred
• Able to travel to various job sites in assigned area (up to 75% travel)
