Ironworker/Welder – Bridgeport, AL
TradesExchange is hiring experienced Ironworker/Welders for a project in Bridgeport, Alabama. This is a great opportunity for candidates who are ready to travel, work steady overtime, and move project to project with a strong company.
Candidates will be working on a Google project performing structural ironworker and welding duties including moment welds, rigging, bolt-up, connecting, structural steel erection, layout, fitting, and working at heights.
Position Details:
Pay: Based on experience
Per Diem: $100 per day worked
Schedule: 6-day work week with plenty of overtime (Monday- Saturday)
Project Length: 2–3 months MINIMUM
Location: Bridgeport, AL
Project Type: Google project
Requirement: OSHA 10 required
Job Duties Include:
Perform moment welds and structural welding
Assist with rigging, signaling, and connecting steel
Bolt-up, align, and secure structural members
Read and follow basic prints, drawings, and field instructions
Work safely at heights and around cranes/lifts
Use proper PPE and follow all site safety requirements
Support crew with layout, fitting, fabrication, and installation as needed
Ideal Candidate:
Experienced in ironwork, welding, connecting, and bolt-up
Comfortable traveling for work
Reliable, safety-minded, and able to work long hours
Has OSHA 10 or is able to obtain it before starting
Ready for a 6-day work week and overtime
Interested in staying busy and going project to project
