We are seeking a candidate who demonstrates leadership and supervisory skills. The successful applicant will understand and demonstrate a safety culture, perform roles and responsibilities without instruction, and know the sequence of activities to be performed.
The role will include understanding how to use tank building tools and equipment, recognizing hazards, and taking necessary actions to mitigate them. You will also provide coaching/training to other crew members, maintain good housekeeping, and rig, lift, and fit-up standard steel storage tanks and vessels. The successful applicant will inspect rigging equipment, operate construction equipment, and ensure proper tools, equipment, and materials are available. Typically, this role requires a minimum of 6 months industrial construction experience.
