HVAC SHEET METAL INSTALLERS NEEDED

Responsibilities:

Sheet Metal Worker, or Sheet Metal Technician, works with thin sheets of metal to produce and install various types of products. On a typical Sheet Metal Work job description, their listed duties may include measuring and marking raw materials, cutting sheet metal to desired sizes using specialized equipment and fastening sheet metal into place via soldering, welding and other techniques.

5+ years’ experience in HVAC Sheet Metal, journeyman level or higher, in industrial or commercial settings 

• Strong knowledge in installing and troubleshooting various HVAC systems; Ability to interpret HVAC drawings, specifications, shop/fabrication drawings, manufacturer’s instructions, SMACNA and IMC codes
• Produce parts lists, work plans, and field measured fabrications based on drawings or field walks
• Test and commission all work per Tesla procedures and building department code; ability to complete job scopes outside of normal core competencies as required; strong working knowledge of job site safety; ability to work at elevations up to 80 ft 
• Willingness to travel to other projects as needed
• Able to work long hours (currently on 6-12s)
• Able to lift more than 50 pounds

 Qualifications:

• Must be able to work both independently in large scale industrial enviornments
• Ability to adhere to company / customer standards for preventative maintenance and repair procedures
• Read wiring diagrams; troubleshoots advanced electrical circuits
• Demonstrate adherence to all safety requirements and proper use of appropriate PPE
• Ability to read and interpret prints
• Skilled in cutting, measuring, and installing duct
• 5+ years experience as a Commercial / Industrial HVAC Service Technician
• EPA certification
• Satisfactory completion of company background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle report
• Candidate will be required to participate in the weekly on-call rotation and work overtime/weekend hours as needed to meet job requirements

Pay Transparency: A reasonable estimate of the available hourly pay scale for this position is between $28-$34hr, DOE. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on qualifications and other factors essential to the performance of duties and is determined by the hiring authority.
