Assistant Site Superintendent – Solar Construction (Client Project)
Location: Keenesburg, CO
Project Type: 12 MW Ground-Mount Solar
Employment Type: Temporary (~6 months)
Start Date: ASAP – Candidates available by May 19 will be considered
Pay Range: $25–$28/hour DOE
Schedule: 5x10s (Monday–Friday), with rotating weekend coverage (7-day site schedule)

We are currently hiring on behalf of one of our clients for a solar project in Keenesburg, CO.
Position Overview
The Assistant Site Superintendent will serve as a key support role on a ground-mount solar utility scale project currently in the civil phase. This field-based leadership position is responsible for daily coordination and site logistics. Reporting directly to the lead Site Superintendent, this individual will step in as acting site lead during scheduled off days.
The ideal candidate may come from a solar, residential, or commercial construction background, and should be mechanically inclined, computer literate, and an effective communicator. Prior solar experience is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities

Receive and check in material deliveries; verify against invoicing

Direct delivery trucks to appropriate drop-off points

Walk the jobsite regularly to monitor progress and address issues

Submit daily progress reports (computer proficiency required)

Serve as acting superintendent during designated off-days

Communicate with site crews, subcontractors, and project managers

Ensure accurate documentation and coordination of all deliveries

Oversee general site activities (no manual labor or equipment operation involved)
Candidate Profile

Experience in residential, commercial, or utility-scale construction

Hands-on “jack-of-all-trades” background with mechanical aptitude

Strong computer skills (for daily reporting and tracking)

Effective communicator; bi-lingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred

Willing to be active on the site—not just trailer-based
-
Comfortable assuming a leadership role when needed
Minimum Requirements

Must be local to Keenesburg, CO (no per diem or travel pay provided)

OSHA 10 certification required

Must pass a pre-employment drug test

Must pass a background check
