Solar Electrician

We are currently seeking an experienced Solar Electrician to join our team for commercial and/or utility-scale solar projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on electrical experience, with at least 2 years in solar installations. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of photovoltaic (PV) systems, including inverters, combiner boxes, and conduit runs.

Pay Range: 

$38.00-$42.00 hr BOE

$30.00 daily per diem, lodging provided

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, test, and commission solar PV systems and related electrical components

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams

• Pull wires, install conduit, terminate wiring, and ensure code compliance

• Perform preventative maintenance and system troubleshooting

• Collaborate with site supervisors and project managers to ensure timely completion

• Adhere strictly to safety procedures and company policies

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of electrical experience (licensed or journeyman preferred)

• At least 2 years of direct experience working on solar PV systems

• Strong understanding of NEC and local electrical codes

• Proficient with tools and equipment related to solar electrical installations

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in outdoor environments

Preferred Qualifications:

• NABCEP certification or equivalent solar training

• OSHA 10 or 30 certification

• Experience with utility-scale solar farms or battery storage integration
