Solar Electrical Superintendent (Master Electrician Preferred)

Performance Personnel Services is seeking an experienced Solar Electrical Superintendent for a leading renewable energy contractor with projects throughout the United States.

Compensation:

  • $140,000 - $150,000 Annual Salary

  • Performance Bonus

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Solar Electrical Superintendent to lead utility-scale solar construction projects nationwide. This role will oversee field operations, supervise electrical crews, ensure safety compliance, and drive projects to successful completion.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solar construction, electrical systems, crew leadership, and project execution. A Master Electrician License is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise all electrical field activities on utility-scale solar projects.

  • Lead electrical crews and subcontractors to ensure safe and productive operations.

  • Coordinate project schedules, manpower, materials, and equipment.

  • Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and company safety standards.

  • Interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.

  • Oversee installation of solar arrays, inverters, combiner boxes, switchgear, and medium-voltage systems.

  • Conduct quality control inspections and ensure workmanship meets project requirements.

  • Coordinate with project management, engineering teams, inspectors, and utility representatives.

  • Support project commissioning, testing, startup, and closeout activities.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent on utility-scale solar projects.

  • Solar construction experience is required.

  • Master Electrician License strongly preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of NEC and electrical construction practices.

  • Experience managing large crews and multiple subcontractors.

  • Experience with medium-voltage systems and solar commissioning preferred.

  • Ability to travel extensively and work on projects throughout the United States.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
