Job Description
Desired Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of electrical experience with a current Minnesota Journey License, experience in a variety of electrical installations, and in good standing with the Minnesota Licensing Board.
  • Strong work ethic, successful working independently, and thrive within a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to apply knowledge in an effective manner.
  • Valid drivers license and the ability to pass both a criminal background check and pre-employment substance test is required.
  • Experience driving a full sized pickup truck with an enclosed trailer attached.
  • Ability to easily move around the worksite throughout the day and regularly lift and/or move 50lbs.
This is a traveling position and you must be comfortable being on the road M-F.
  • 75-90% overnight travel throughout the Midwest.
  • Per diem is $150/night when you are 60+ miles from our shop in Shakopee (you may keep whatever per diem you do not spend).

Responsibilities:
  • Effectively and concisely communicate with crew members and the PM overseeing the job.
  • Read construction drawings, equipment mounting/installation, testing/troubleshooting completion of close out documents and other duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to established regulations, standards and company policies and procedures and pay special attention to safety requirements and regulations.
  • Address crew complaints and/or conflicts in a professional manner.
  • Lead by example.

While a large part of our work is done on the tower top by our tower technicians, there is a whole other scope of work that must be done on the ground by our civil and electrical departments.
