Material Handler/ with Forklift Certfication

Job Title: Material Handler / Certified Forklift Operator

Summary:
Reliable and safety-conscious Material Handler with forklift certification and proven experience in warehouse, logistics, and manufacturing environments. Skilled in inventory control, material movement, and loading/unloading procedures while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate sit-down, stand-up, and pallet jack forklifts to safely move raw materials, finished goods, and supplies.

• Load and unload trucks, verify shipments, and stage materials according to production and shipping schedules.

• Maintain accurate inventory by scanning and documenting material movements using warehouse management systems (WMS).

• Supply production lines with necessary materials and remove finished products for storage or shipment.

• Perform routine forklift inspections and report maintenance issues or safety concerns.

• Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment.

• Assist with cycle counts, stock replenishment, and general warehouse housekeeping tasks.

Certifications & Qualifications:

• Valid forklift operator certification.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in fast-paced environments.

• Experience with RF scanners and basic computer skills preferred.

• Excellent teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
